This year’s event will be run from the 20th to 21st of October 2017 with two grades:
Main Grade (16 places) – Berkshire players in the PSA, County Premier or 1st Division League Team (Squash Levels: 3000+). PAR 11 best of 5 games.
‘A’ Grade (16 places) - Players in a County League 2nd or 3rd Division League Team (Squash Levels: (0-3000). PAR 15 best of 5 games.
Note: The Squash Levels is a guideline for those unsure what the standard will be for each grade, so feel free if you would like to challenge yourself in the main grade if your squash level is slightly lower than 3000. This will also help me on how to determine the seedings (head to head records will be taken in consideration.
Entry fee £10, payable via pay pal. Entry fee includes The Berkshire Closed 2017 tournament t-shirt and some beers on the bar.
All players are guaranteed a minimum of two matches, as their will be a plate competition for first round losers. ALL players will need to play their first round matches on the Friday evening.
There is a cafe, bakery, newsagent and pub just 100 metres from the venue so people will have no problem filling in time between matches.
