Why did you join the RBSRA Committee?
Playing league squash over the years has provided me with some fantastic memories and connected me with some amazing people. When the opportunity arose to help run the Berkshire league, I couldn't resist.
Where and when did you start playing squash?
I started playing squash when I was 10 years old, in Staffordshire. I had coaching shortly after and started playing competitions and country matches. I enjoyed playing North West Counties leagues before moving to Birmingham to play for the University Community team. Later, when I moved to Wiltshire in 2020, I started playing in Wiltshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire county leagues and have continued ever since.
Who was your biggest influencer in the game?
My Mum has been the biggest influence in my game has been. My love for the game started when I followed her to team matches and then jumped on court to practise in between her games! She also volunteered her time to develop community squash in Staffordshire and has been a great role model for me.
What is your proudest squash moment?
Squash is my family's sport and the proudest moments in my squash career haven been coaching with them and watching their enjoyment grow.
