Dylan Kalar - Soooooooooo close to being a National champion in Squash to match his National Racketball trophy earlier this year.
Dylan as the number 2 seed had a fantastic weekend and played the UK ranked number - 6, 5 and 3 seeds to get to the final, including a brutal semi-final which had so much drama and emotion - keeping the packed crowd enthralled, had Jasmin reduced to tears, his mum an emotional wreck and nerves jangled on both sides as the semi-final went to the wire...2-2 in games and in the 5th Dylan saved 3 match balls to win in dramatic style and showed the heart of a lion with the crowd erupting in what was one of the matches of the tournament.
He then faced the number 1 seed in the final and unfortunately he was a bit too strong (several months older and stronger than Dylan), but he done us proud and as RUNNER UP the England coaches were very impressed. He has now won an equipment and clothing Sponsorship deal with Dunlop which is amazing along with other goodies.
He is now focussed on the British Open in a few months time.
Also a big shout out to Jasmin Kalar and Danni Kalar who also played fantastic and got good positions in the tournament. The Kalar sisters are playing tremendously well and have a great future
